Privacy choices

This page summarizes the privacy choices LowKey actually offers in the product today. It does not invent advertising opt-outs or sale toggles that are not part of LowKey.

No sale / no advertising use

LowKey does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for advertising. There is no separate advertising “opt out” control because advertising tracking is not part of the product.

Parent sharing

Parent access is optional. A parent can see only summary progress after the student agrees and an administrator verifies the connection. Parents cannot see questions, answers, or answer keys. You can decline or revoke parent sharing from the product flows that manage that connection.

Withdrawing a sharing choice stops future sharing. It does not undo information a verified parent already viewed.

Sign out

You can sign out at any time from your account surfaces. Your Apple Account or Google Account remains separate from LowKey. Removing LowKey in a provider's settings does not by itself delete your LowKey account.

Signed-in Student, Parent, and Reviewer settings show the sign-in options connected to that LowKey account. Connecting another option requires a recent LowKey sign-in plus a fresh check by Apple or Google. Disconnecting requires a fresh check by that provider, is refused if it would leave no usable sign-in option, and signs the LowKey account out everywhere when it succeeds. It does not delete the outside Apple Account or Google Account.

Access, correction, and deletion

• Students and Parents can start an account-deletion request from signed-in settings, then complete every required fresh sign-in check on the secure finish page.
• A completed deletion cannot be restored. Registering again creates a new account without old progress, Parent connections, entitlements, or sessions.
• Reviewer and Admin accounts use an administrator-managed access and deletion review instead of self-service deletion.
